A boom arm mount arm combined with a light weight mechanical gripper is easy to install. Hermco's engineer custom design the boom arm and manipulator unit to cover all production areas. Plan and elevation calculations are done on AutoCad. Copies of these drawings are provided to your facility with our formal quotations. CMG 220 Custom Monitor Gripper
By clamping the side of the monitor this unit permits packing and removal of several size of monitors from confined boxes . Shown is a manipulator that quickly adjusts to grip monitors of three different sizes and weights from 18 to 30 pounds . Different products are thereby easily handled on the same production or rework line with one machine.

Designed for quick fast operation the less than 35 pound weight of this unit reduces operator fatigue and promotes high user compliance. Used as an assist in a manual operation that usually requires two operators this unique functional design requires only one operator. A power locking mechanism holds the unit stationary while packing or skinning operations are performed by the operator.

Hermco's exclusive "air link track" assures the operator does not have to pull against airline resistance when moving the product. The rotary union coupling allows continuous 360 degree rotation in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction without ever winding up the airlines. Safety interlock mechanisms precludes the accidental release of the gripper Until the internal sensor indicates that the whole weight of the product is off set down, it is impossible to open the grippers. The roto-wink indicator on the unit gives red or green indicator to the operator that a good clamp has been made, insuring product integrity with no damaged products.
